Frank Spiess is an AWS senior technical trainer, professional speaker and tech enthusiast. He joined Amazon Web Services in 2020 as a senior technical trainer, which is one of his favorite tasks so far – his main focus there is to help customers to reach their goals with the help of machine learning. He also actively supports investors by carrying out technical due diligence on start-up companies. Frank studied physics with main subject semiconductor physics, second subject computer science with a focus on computer vision. Frank holds a PhD in mathematics (data security). He started his professional career in international IT consulting supporting customers in telecommunications (billing systems), automotive (connected car solutions), and others. He has 15 years of freelance projects experience in the same industries.

Codrin is an Architect and Engineering Lead with over 10 years of experience in developing high performance cloud and private hosted systems working with both startups and large enterprises.
 
Proficient with more than a few programming languages and cloud providers, I have also been a part of 3 AWS Case Studies until now and I have built one of the most used Javascript Map libraries in the world.

Vladislav Sič is a software engineer with more than 17 years of experience and has been with Levi9 for over 11 years. At the moment he is occupying the position of Software Architect and mostly deals with the Java ecosystem. Still, he gets his hands quite dirty with other programming languages/technologies as well. He has worked across multiple industries, including telecommunications and retail, as well as multiple government agencies. You can probably find him somewhere in his free time exploring the world, usually on two or more wheels. 

Jeroen Ketting

For 28 years, entrepreneur Jeroen Ketting lived and worked in Moscow, Russia until Russia invaded Ukraine on the 24th of February 2022.
Not accepting Russia’s actions, he and his wife and business partner decided to take a moral stand and close their businesses and leave Russia.
During the first week of the war Jeroen started to organise humanitarian support to people in Eastern Ukraine from his apartment in Moscow.
Today 31 months later his Foundation, LifeLine Ukraine, has implemented 11 million euros worth of humanitarian projects and aid deliveries inside Ukraine to the areas bordering the frontline and Russia.
Levi9 has been a strong supporter of LifeLine Ukraine. Together, Levi9 and LifeLine Ukraine built CIRNAT, an online application for Critical Infrastructure Rapid Needs Assessments for Ukrainian water and sewage sanitation companies.
This Ukrainian experience set Jeroen and his wife Svetlana firmly on the path of Impact Entrepreneurship. Now back in Holland they are working to bring companies and people in from the sidelines to join the good fight for planet earth by combining the two greatest forces for good that we have on this planet today. People and digital technology.

Leading a team of 9, he takes pride in developing their skills and fostering collaboration. Djordje’s diverse background spans healthcare, media, marketing, traffic and transport, and fintech sectors.
 
Known for his attention to detail, he brings a tester’s mindset even to his presentations—often leaving subtle easter eggs and details for his audience to catch, keeping them engaged and on their toes.

As an Engineering lead, he is responsible for both technical leadership, innovation and team management.  When he wears the Software architect hat, he focuses on defining the overall architecture and framework of a software system, while also trying to code as much as possible.

My name is Victor Munteanu and I’ve been working in testing since 2012 which is also when I joined Levi9. I consider myself fortunate enough to have started and developed my career in Testing through what I see as the golden years, wherein automation grew from a niche trend to a project necesity.  I am quite passionate about new technologies and strategies that allow us to become more dilligent in our work, but I also think work ethic, transparency and realistic expectations are the foundation to any successful project. Oh, and I hope AI won’t kill us all.

My name is Joseph, and I am the Head of Architecture & Innovation at Sunrock. With a background in sustainable engineering and business innovation, I focus on developing end-to-end processes that support our energy trading, asset steering, and energy management systems (EMS). At Sunrock, I coordinate the development of a scalable and innovative technology stack that ensures our operational activities run efficiently, from data collection at the asset level to consolidating gold datasets for invoicing and reporting. I’m passionate about integrating technology with business processes to drive sustainable energy solutions. During the upcoming event, I’ll be sharing insights into the architecture and innovations shaping our technology to support day-to-day operations and the future of clean energy.

Nick van den Bovenkamp

My name is Nick van den Bovenkamp, I have been working at Sunrock for almost 4 years. In these 4 years, I’ve seen Sunrock transitioning from a rooftop solar developer towards an integrated energy solution provider. In my current role as product owner, I am responsible for the Energy Management System (EMS) and our EMS simulation environment, both key ingredients for developing and realising integrated energy solutions. 

Having studied Sustainable Energy Technology at the TU Delft, I have been a clean energy enthusiast from the early days. Building a green economy together is what drives me. I firmly believe that applying machine learning and optimization algorithms is the solution to the increasing complexity of our energy system. And I’m looking forward to talking you through our innovative EMS product during the Arch9 event.

Nenad Resimic

Nenad brings over 10 years of experience in the IT sector, having held various complex roles such as Test Lead, Department Manager, Software Developer, and Mentor of student interns.  
As a test lead, he is responsible for leading and mentoring the testing team, as well as developing the test strategy. In this role, he has collaborated with multiple developer teams across diverse projects and industries, applying his expertise in the development and execution of automation tests to ensure high-quality of the products. 
Nenad also played a key role in developing Levi9’s intranet platform, which became a crucial tool for employee communication and information sharing, especially during the pandemic. He has been actively involved in mentoring student interns, delivering training on testing fundamentals and test management tools, and leading the internal test community at Levi9.  

In addition, Nenad has represented Levi9 as a speaker at numerous internal and external events, such as the conference titled “Testing the future – presenting various AI tools for Automation and Manual Testing”. 
His proactive and innovative approach, combined with his strong communication skills, has empowered QA teams on every project he has contributed to.

He is currently part of the AI cloud advocate team and based in the Netherlands.
